It is a huge responsibility and takes a coordinated effort from the whole team to accomplish this - including our Mechanics. Do you have precision, patience and a commitment to safety?   • RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure our fleet meets aircraft standards as required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)

  • Maintain the airworthiness of aircraft and all their components while in service or while undergoing scheduled overhaul maintenance

  • Complete tasks according to FAA regulations, company policies and procedures, and instructions from Supervisors and Managers

  • Certify the quality of personal workmanship, including signing mechanical flight releases for field work

  • Complete necessary paperwork and computer entries for any maintenance performed

  • A wide variety of duties are performed such as dismantling, overhauling, repairing, fabricating, assembling, welding and erecting all parts of an aircraft; which includes airframe, engines, radio equipment, instruments, electrical systems, heating systems, cooling systems, and hydraulic systems

  • Test and inspect parts, subassemblies or completed assemblies

  • Assure the shop/work area is maintained in a safe and orderly manner

  • If qualified, may be responsible for taxiing and towing aircraft for maintenance purposes

  • In this role, the Mechanic must have attention to detail in order to ensure tasks are completed with precision. The ability to trouble shoot is critical in this position

  • Core tools (SAE), maintained and shadowed

  • POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum Age: 18

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Valid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license

  • Valid state driver’s license; some license restrictions may prohibit a candidate from being considered for this position

  • Ability to differentiate colors such as: red, green, yellow, blue, black, brown, white and orange

  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 60 lbs

  • Willing and able to work rotating shifts including, nights, holidays, weekends and days off

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

  • Possess the legal right to work in the United States

  • Must be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language

Operations Specialist

  • The Operations Specialist reports to the Site Director and under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager is responsible for, overseeing the success of the daily flight schedule, collaborating with departments as needed to meet customer service needs and training requirements, and coordinate required maintenance services to meet pre-determined company metrics (aircraft hours, instruction hours, student load, etc.).

  • Job Duties:

  • Coordinate with flight instructors, customers, and local team management to create and execute the daily flight schedule

  • Monitor day of flight operations, notifying customers of cancelled or adjusted reservations

  • Maintain daily functioning and cleanliness of the operations facilities – conducting daily housekeeping duties such as building organization, restocking, etc.

  • Follow maintenance procedures for aircraft discrepancies – coordinate with maintenance for service, ensure proper discrepancy documentation, assign/reassign aircraft to support maintenance requirements

  • Coordinate with Operations Manager and/or Operations Specialist when gaps for aircraft usage, instructor, and student availability are identified

  • Aviation is fun and recruiters get to be the gateway between a candidate and their dream of flying! We are a fun, fast-paced and growing flight school looking for an an energetic, recent college graduate assistant to fill a needed recruiting position in our Dallas office.

  • GENERAL DUTIES:

  • Clerical Functions:

  • Answering phone calls and reaching out to all interested leads whom have contacted the company (No cold calls).

  • Communicating the program effectively and answering questions is integral to this position.

  • Responsible for ensuring that all the necessary paperwork is filed and that applicant forms are completed and processed.

  • Screen Applicants:

  • As the first point of contact between applicants and the recruiting manager, recruiting assistants screen applicants before moving their applications forward. To screen applicants, recruiting assistants review application material, read resumes and experience forms, and set-up phone interviews.

  • Update Applicant Information:

  • Perform data entry to input and update applicant information in the candidate database.

  • Uphold confidentiality when handling applicant information.
