  • Input, monitor and modify as necessary, schedule information into the computerized scheduling system (ETA/TALON) and Google Calendar

  • Develop the daily schedule by following set processes, procedures and safety guidelines

  • Coordinate available resources and improve resource efficiency/utilization

  • Work with flight instructors on daily schedule requests and changes throughout the day

  • Develop the daily schedule based on student progress and course outlines

  • Meet or exceed daily scheduling targets

  • Compile reports as necessary

  • Perform other related duties and assignments as required

  • Manage each student in terms of which resource they fly, which program they are in, and where they are at within their respected flight course

  • Communicate with Maintenance on resource availability

  • Charge students after each lesson by their credit card on file or pulling from their account balance

  • Monitor student account balance to prevent accruing a negative balance

  • Set up the students first indoctrination/orientation event and discuss documents, scheduling process and other topics, and answer any questions in order to facilitate the new student’s success

Coast Flight Training & Management is hiring a Full Time Flight Training Operations Scheduler, based at our San Diego. location. We are a fast-growing, recognized industry leading flight training company, with strong relationships at all levels of the aviation industry. We are looking for someone who is detailed oriented, excellent verbal and written communication skills, the ability to learn quickly, stay organized, and easily multi-task in a dynamic, fast-paced, environment. The applicant must also have knowledge of basic computer programs, the ability to work independently and have the mental agility to “stay ahead of the situation”. Flight knowledge is a plus but not necessary. This is a full time Monday – Friday hourly position.Through the use of Google Calendar and our scheduling computer program (Talon/E.T.A), the scheduler is responsible for the daily training schedule for approx. 100 students and 22 flight instructors assigned to an array of programs. The Scheduler will be corresponding with students daily, gathering each student’s schedule individually and inputting into their respected flight instructors schedule. You will be working along side and in consonance with another scheduler to create and execute the most efficient training schedule. The scheduler will also oversee the billing for each student after their lessons, create and organize student indoctrination program, collection of required student documents, and monitoring of student’s flight training progress. The scheduler will report directly to the Operations Supervisor.

A&P Mechanic

It is a huge responsibility and takes a coordinated effort from the whole team to accomplish this - including our Mechanics. Do you have precision, patience and a commitment to safety?   • RESPONSIBILITIES: -

  • Ensure our fleet meets aircraft standards as required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)

  • Maintain the airworthiness of aircraft and all their components while in service or while undergoing scheduled overhaul maintenance

  • Completed tasks according to FAA regulations, company policies and procedures, and instructions from Supervisors and Managers

  • Certify the quality of personal workmanship, including signing mechanical flight releases for field work

  • Complete necessary paperwork and computer entries for any maintenance performed

  • A wide variety of duties are performed such as dismantling, overhauling, repairing, fabricating, assembling, welding and erecting all parts of an aircraft; which includes airframe, engines, radio equipment, instruments, electrical systems, heating systems, cooling systems, and hydraulic systems

  • Test and inspect parts, subassemblies or completed assemblies

  • Assure the shop/work area is maintained in a safe and orderly manner.

  • If qualified, may be responsible for taxiing and towing aircraft for maintenance purposes

  • n this role, the Mechanic must have attention to detail in order to ensure tasks are completed with precision. The ability to trouble shoot is critical in this position.

  • Core tools (SAE), maintained and shadowed

  • POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum Age: 18

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

  • Valid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license

  • Valid state driver’s license; some license restrictions may prohibit a candidate from being considered for this position

  • Ability to differentiate colors such as: red, green, yellow, blue, black, brown, white and orange

  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 60 lbs.

  • Willing and able to work rotating shifts including, nights, holidays, weekends and days off

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing

  • Possess the legal right to work in the United States

  • Must be able to read, write, fluently speak and understand the English language
