Ensure our fleet meets aircraft standards as required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
Maintain the airworthiness of aircraft and all their components while in service or while undergoing scheduled overhaul maintenance
Complete tasks according to FAA regulations, company policies and procedures, and instructions from Supervisors and Managers
Certify the quality of personal workmanship, including signing mechanical flight releases for field work
Complete necessary paperwork and computer entries for any maintenance performed
A wide variety of duties are performed such as dismantling, overhauling, repairing, fabricating, assembling, welding and erecting all parts of an aircraft; which includes airframe, engines, radio equipment, instruments, electrical systems, heating systems, cooling systems, and hydraulic systems
Test and inspect parts, subassemblies or completed assemblies
Assure the shop/work area is maintained in a safe and orderly manner
If qualified, may be responsible for taxiing and towing aircraft for maintenance purposes
In this role, the Mechanic must have attention to detail in order to ensure tasks are completed with precision. The ability to trouble shoot is critical in this position
Core tools (SAE), maintained and shadowed

Minimum Age: 18

Job Description:
The Operations Specialist is responsible for overseeing the success of the daily flight schedule, ensure customer service needs are met, monitor student training progression, maintain customer retention, managing the aircraft to meet the pre-determined metrics (aircraft hours, instruction hours, student load, etc).
Duties and Responsibilities:
Maintaining daily housekeeping of facilities
Point of contact and scheduler for all customers and managing their flight training availability
Tracking customer flight training progression
Billing and invoicing customers
Monitoring customer funds on account
Completing daily and weekly reports
Monitoring Day of flight operations
Audit company’s scheduling system for correct customers session logs, billing, and training information
Coordinate with maintenance to manage the predictability of aircraft usage and addressing aircraft discrepancies
Coordinate with all departments and customers to ensure maximization of resource availability

We are seeking an experienced Chief Flight Instructor to manage our flight training program in San Marcos, Texas.

We are seeking an experienced Chief Flight Instructor to manage our flight training program in San Marcos, Texas.
The Chief Flight Instructor is responsible to provide safe, effective flight instruction operations in accordance with all local, state, and federal aviation guidelines.
The Chief Flight Instructor is responsible for:
Supervising student training to ensure compliance with federal aviation regulations
Instructor hiring, training and performance evaluations
Ensure that all students are progressing through the training course(s)
Work with the FAA to manage any required school tasks
Conduct student stage checks and evaluations per FAR 141 requirements
Communicate with operations staff and management regarding all flight training matters
Schedule check rides and coordinate with DPE’s
Responsible for all student training record management
Minimum Qualifications:
Hold a commercial pilot or an airline transport pilot certificate, and appropriate flight instructor certificates.
The certificates must contain the appropriate aircraft category, class, and instrument ratings.
Must meet the eligibility requirements of FAR 141.35 and hold a valid FAA Medical Certificate.
Must meet requirements of FAR 61.56, 61.57, and be IFR current and proficient.
G1000 time preferred.
Part 141 experience required.
